What the work is

Hosting live sales on a brand's TikTok Shop.

Every live is at least three hours on camera, four is a typical shift, and some sellers want six to eight with a break or a handover to a second host. You present the products, run the deals, read the chat and keep the pace up. A producer is on the line and the run-sheet is written for you.

Streams run on the brand's account, not yours. Your follower count doesn't matter. How you come across live does.

From home or from a studio. Some brands ship you a sample box and you go live from your own setup. Others want you in their studio with the full range in hand, so we match local hosts to those.

What we look for

Can you hold a room?

  • You go live at least 3 times a month and can show us the replays
  • You're based in the UK and 18 or over
  • Clear on camera, quick in the chat, comfortable with a countdown
  • Reliable: a shift booked is a shift streamed
  • A decent phone, ring light and quiet space if you host from home
  • Bonus: beauty, fashion, preloved, home or collectibles knowledge

Pay

£12.71 an hour, plus 3% when you're a regular.

Every stream pays the National Living Wage rate, £12.71 an hour, guaranteed, so a quiet night is never a wasted night. Every live is at least three hours. Once you've hosted three lives for the same seller, every stream for them after that also earns you 3% of sales made while you're live.

For every stream, from your first, matched to the National Living Wage and moving with it. A three-hour stream is £38.13 whether it flies or flops.

3% of sales from your 4th live

Sellers keep the hosts that work for them. From your fourth stream with the same seller you earn 3% of everything sold while you're on.

You're self-employed. Take three evenings a week or one Saturday a month. Invoice us, we pay you.

The process

From application to first stream.

  1. Send your TikTok profile and three replaysThe form below takes two minutes. Replays are in TikTok under Profile → LIVE → Replays. Without them we watch you live, which takes longer.
  2. We watch you liveWe look at how you present, how you handle chat and how you pace a sale. We reply within 3 working days either way.
  3. Short call and a trial streamA chat about what you'd like to host, then a trial stream with a producer on the line.
  4. Shifts open upWe send you shifts that fit your categories, location and availability. You accept the ones you want.
