FAQ

Questions, both sides.

Hosts ask

Hosting with us

How often do I need to go live?

At least three times a month, and you need to be able to show us. Send three replay links with your application, or make sure your recent lives are visible so we can watch.

Do I need a big following?

No. Streams run on the brand's TikTok Shop account, not yours. We care how you come across live, which is why we ask for your profile and watch your recent streams.

How much does it pay?

£12.71 an hour, the National Living Wage rate, for every stream, guaranteed. Every live is at least three hours. Once you've done three lives for the same seller, you also earn 3% of sales made during your streams for them. Pay is confirmed on every shift offer before you accept.

Am I employed?

No, you're a freelancer. You choose which shifts to take, you invoice us, and we pay you. You're responsible for your own tax.

Do I stream from home or a studio?

Both exist. Some brands ship you a sample box and you go live from home. Others want hosts in their studio, and we match those to hosts nearby.

What do I need at home?

A phone that streams well, a ring light, a stable connection and a quiet, tidy background. We'll check your setup on the trial stream.

How long until I'm streaming?

We reply within 3 working days of your application. If we like what we see, a short call and a trial stream usually follow within two weeks.

Hiring hosts

How does pricing work?

Two numbers: an hourly rate for the live hours you book, billed monthly, and a single-digit share of sales made during our hosts' streams. We contract and pay the hosts out of that, including the commission they earn once they're a regular on your account. One invoice. In-studio carries a higher hourly rate because we source hosts near you; the sales share is the same.

How do you know what we sold?

Two sources: the host logs sales and viewers at the end of every stream, and we read the LIVE session figures in your Seller Center through a view-only staff login you control. Both appear on your statement, and if they ever disagree your Seller Center figure wins.

Is a producer really on every stream?

Yes, a human, on the line with the host. As standard one producer covers up to three streams at once. If you want a dedicated producer for every stream, it's an add-on.

Whose account do streams run on?

Yours. Hosts go live on your TikTok Shop, so the sales, the followers and the data are all yours.

Is it only TikTok?

TikTok Shop first. We also run eBay Live and Whatnot on request.

Can I meet the hosts first?

Yes. We send two or three profiles and you have an intro call before anyone goes live.

What if a host doesn't work out?

Tell us and we recast. Host contracts, cover and pay are our problem, not yours.

Do you work outside the UK?

Not yet. Hosts and brands are UK-based for now.
